About the School
Brandon Hall School is a college preparatory school for grades 6-12 and is a day school for girls and a boarding school for boys. The school was originally a tutorial proprietary school founded in 1959 by Theodore Hecht. The school has always focused on the individual whether it is one on one or a small group class. Dr. John Singleton is the president and headmaster. He has 25 years experience in private and public education.
He became involved with the implementation of alternative schools for at-risk youth in North Carolina, and worked as a director or has been on a board of directors for many other academies. Mr. Singleton received his doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2010 from the University of Phoenix. Brandon Hall School is located on the Chattahoochee River near Atlanta, GA and has a wide variety of clubs and service groups for the students to be involved in.
