The Kings Academy
The Kings Academy is located in Seymour, TN and is a coeducational, Christ-centered boarding school for grades 7-12. TKA builds vision and that each person is designed to fulfill a unique purpose. The King’s Academy believes that each student was created by God for a special purpose. Using the best educational practices, TKA helps students in the process of discovery and finding their own divine calling by opening their hearts and minds to consider God’s plans for their lives. Faith is the foundation of a meaningful life and at TKA faith in God is essential. Each individual has a divine purpose and in a faith-centered environment, they can grow in peace and confidence. We learn more about ourselves by being with each other. TKA believes students live out their divine purpose in the context of relationships. Within the school community, students are encouraged to look for opportunities to service each other whether at school or home. Character is who you are when no one else is around. TKA believes in personal integrity and with the help of the Holy Spirit, students are guided in their decisions, and maintain high moral standards in thoughts, words and actions, wherever they may be. Don’t settle for anything less than the best. TKA believes that everyone is called by God to a life of excellence and students are challenged to find that way. Standards of behavior are set forth in the teachings of the Bible and in the character of Jesus Christ. Devotions are scheduled each school day. Prayer is a vital part of this daily discipline and chapel programs are planned each week.
