Fountain Valley School of Colorado

Fountain Valley School is located in Colorado Springs, CO and offers a college preparatory boarding school program for students in grades 9-12. The academics at Fountain Valley School are comprehensive and challenging. They offer honors and Advanced Placement courses. The curriculum is designed to encourage critical thinking skills, stimulate curiosity, and develop intellectual stamina to be prepared to attend the best colleges and universities.

The athletic program at Fountain Valley School helps students to stay physically fit. They may choose to be on a competitive sports team such as basketball, lacrosse, soccer, or tennis. With the beautiful setting on the rolling prairie of Colorado Springs, the school offers an equestrian program. The students can take advantage of training in both English and Western horseback riding. The school maintains a herd of 60 horses that are available to the riders.

The Outdoor Program at Fountain Valley gives students the opportunity to explore some of the most spectacular scenery in the Rocky Mountains. Many mountain ranges are a short distance away from campus and give the students opportunity to hike and climb. The students prepare for a week in the outdoors by building their physical stamina and learn necessary skills to travel in the outdoors. At the end of the season, a student will have spent at least three weekends outdoors. Basic rock climbing is taught and when there is the snow season, students may do some skiing and snowshoeing.
